What size should I buy?
See our sizing guide to work out the best fit for your bub. While some kids at 1 perfectly fit our swimmers, others might need to size up or down. As a general guide, our rashie sets run a little big, while the one pieces are a slimmer fit, so if they’re a 1 in the rashie set, they may find a 2 in the one piece is best.
Do the rashies offer sun protection?
Yep, they sure do. The fabrics we use are classified as having excellent UPF protection under AS/NZS 4399:1996, which means they block at least 97.5% of UV radiation. Just don’t forget to sunscreen everywhere else!
They also have no zips/poppers to snag, dig, rust or bust. Just pull on and go. Plus, our sleeves are ¾ on most kids, so no more annoying wet rashies hanging over your hands when you’re busy playing.
Why do I need a swim nappy?
A non disposable swim nappy is a requirement for some pools for all children aged 2 and under, even if they’re toilet trained, because they tend to do a better job keeping what you don’t want in the pool out of the pool than the disposable kind! They also look a whole lot less daggy …
Our swim nappies not only compliment our rashies, but size up a little big in the smaller sizes too so that you can easily pop a disposable swim nappy under there if you like for a much less messy clean up. In fact, in the 000 and 00 you can happily fit a regular nappy under there for when your littlest isn’t in the water. As well as looking stylish on the sand or poolside, that also means a bit less beach in their bottoms.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to make them overseas?
It sure would. But at least for now, we love that we can support local industry. A lot of products are designed in Australia, but manufactured elsewhere because it is more expensive to produce here. However, we feel that as well as ensuring a great finish, getting our swimmers made here in Oz means a lot to those working in a skilled industry we don’t want to see disappear. Hopefully, it means a lot to our customers too and we can keep on doing it!
Something is wrong. How do I return my purchase?
We want you and your little ones to love your new swimmers. If you don’t, please drop us a line using the contact part of our site and let us know what is wrong. We can then let you know where and how to send them and what happens next.
Please note however, that we only offer exchange or refund on returned goods as long as these are unworn, unwashed and with all the labels and hygiene sticker still attached. Due to issues with hygiene, we can’t offer a refund on garments that have had this sticker removed.
Why do you only go up to size 2?
We’re brand new and just starting out. Hopefully, in the near future we’ll be able to offer bigger sizes and more styles too so your older siblings don’t miss out. Until then, it’s all about the babes of the family! In fact, we are one of the only boutique brands that offer sizes as small as 000, which makes us pretty perfect for baby shower gifts. After all, someone else will no doubt get the washers and the muslins. Snore!
How do I care for my swimwear to ensure it stays fabulous?
To get as much life from your purchase as possible, we recommend the following garment care:
• Rinse thoroughly in cold water after each use
• Cold hand wash or gentle machine wash
• Never tumble drying
• Line or flat dry in shade
• Do not wring, soak or bleach
• Do not store swimwear when wet
• Avoid excess contact with sun creams and oils or pools treated with harsh chemicals
• Avoid contact with rough surfaces, as this may cause pilling to the garment
